EuroNanoForum 2017 - Visit CERIC at the EU Research Infrastructure Village booth
21-23 June 2017, Valletta - Malta

CERIC will take part in a conference on strengthening the competitiveness of European manufacturing industries through Nano and advanced materials technologies and open innovation: EuroNanoForum 2017, which will be held in Valletta on June 21-23, 2017. CERIC major goal is to explore possibility for presenting Research Infrastructure (RI) to broader industrial community by being part of the European Research Infrastructure Village.

The European Research Infrastructure Village promotes the industrial use of European Research Infrastructures. Europe has the best portfolio of Analytical Research Infrastructures worldwide, serving a wide and dynamic academic community of many tens of thousands of scientists every year. These large-scale and unique, but still exotic, facilities enable remarkable insights into materials of all types, particularly for characterization on the Nano-scale. The research infrastructures are open not only for fundamental science, but are increasingly a routine tool exploited for proprietary research by companies.

In the European Analytical Research Infrastructure Village, the capabilities and the access possibilities to various of these remarkable facilities are presented, such as the European X-Ray Free-Electron Laser Facility GmbH (European XFEL), Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht (HZG) and CERIC.
