Czech Ministry of Education awards Prof. Matolin for his scientific achievements

Prof. Vladimir Matolin, Director of the Czech Partner Facility of CERIC, the Surface Physics Laboratory at the Charles University in Prague, was awarded by the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports – MŠMT for his extraordinary research results and work in the field of research, development and innovation and, in particular:
- For the world-renowned scientific achievements in the development of advanced materials for hydrogen technology and patents for new electrocatalysts that significantly decrease the cost of hydrogen fuel cells through a drastic reduction in the content of precious Platinum;
- For assembling a team of excellent young scientists working in a state-of-the-art laboratory of a large research infrastructure that has become the centre of nanomaterial research for catalysis.
- For the progressive transfer of the materials into practice.
