PARI 2017 Workshop on Public Awareness of Research Infrastructures
29-30 May 2017, Garching - Germany

The European Southern Observatory - ESO hosted the Workshop on Public Awareness of Research Infrastructures Communicating the importance of Science to Society, held in Garching (Germany), on 29-30 May 2017.

Communication and public relations professionals and teams from research infrastructures worldwide, had the chance to meet in this hands-on forum, to share and exchange their experiences and expertise on a wide rage of methods and channels deployed to bridge science and society. Keynote speakers such as Ana Noronha, Prof. Ana Adi, Brian Tech and Michel Classens, attended the event.

The workshop was organized by ERF-AISBL, the European Association of National Research Facilities, ESO, MLZ Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Zentrum, and EIROforum.
