Administrative clerk at CERIC-ERIC - closed January 2016

CERIC-ERIC, the first European “ERIC” Consortium operating with legal seat in Italy and dedicated to the development and management of International Research Infrastructures, is seeking an Administrative clerk for the Administration & Controls area. The Consortium has been set-up with a decision of the European Commission on June 2014, (214/392/EU) and its Statute has been published in 26/6/2014 in the EU official Gazette. The Administrative clerk’s specific tasks will be:

  • Operational support to accounting and budgeting;
  • Collect, count, and disburse money, do basic bookkeeping and complete banking transactions;
  • Perform data entry;
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
  • Maintain a wide variety of financial information, files and records for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Handle travel arrangements and expense reports for corporate bodies;
  • Support in tax compliance;
  • Schedule and manage meetings and events, organize business trips;
  • Secretarial support

The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:

  • Accountant degree or professional experience in a similar position will be an advantage;
  • Advanced user of office suite, e-mail, internet browsing;
  • Good knowledge of the Management software ZUCCHETTI will be a plus;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
