CERIC awards for high quality publications

CERIC rewards high quality-high impact publications based on results obtained through the facilities offered by CERIC-ERIC, by covering the full cost of an open access scientific paper publication, charged by the journal. Up to six publications will be rewarded each year.

Eligibility conditions

In order to be eligible, the publication must:

  • derive from a proposal approved through the CERIC Peer Review Panel;
  • acknowledge CERIC as one of the supporting institutions, explicitly citing the access to the facility;
  • be published in a journal with an Impact Factor (IF) higher than 10 (last available data)

Selection

Submissions will be reviewed twice per year, on June 1st and December 1st. Each time, the eligible proposals will be ranked according to the IF of the journal and the top three publications will be rewarded by reimbursing the full cost of an open access publication.

How to participate

The submission of your application is possible at any time. The documents to submit to the user office are those allowing an assessment of the eligibility and evaluation criteria:

  • Draft of your publication with proof of acceptance from the scientific journal.
  • Copy of identity card or passport attesting the age of the first author/presenter (for young researchers).
  • Receipt of the publication fee
